A Thermodynamic Profiler (Microwave Radiometer MP-3000A) for Atmospheric Boundary Layer Studies

This instrument was acquired via a DURIP grant toward purchase of a MP-3000A Portable Hyperspectral Microwave Radiometer Profiler for measurements of temperature, humidity and liquid water content in an atmospheric column to a height of ~ 10 km. Detailed ABL information provided by the MP-3000A is invaluable for atmospheric boundary layer probing, modeling and data assimilation studies.
