Argonne National Laboratory leads the Urban Integrated Field Laboratory team to study the impact of extreme weather events on the people and infrastructure in the Chicago area. The IFL is one of three in the Nation created by a $66 million award from the Department of Energy to better understand climate and weather events and their impact on urban systems.
